Obtaining a power of attorney
In order to make a power of attorney, it is necessary to come to Embassy of Ukraine in Portugal.
Before going to the embassy, familiarize yourself with it work schedule. Since there is an overload due to the number of requests, it is better to make an appointment online on the website and come on the specified day.
You need to go to window number 1. There will be a short conversation and you will be given the necessary forms.
We highly recommend filling out the forms in advance and printing them. Thus, you will save a lot of time for yourself and other people in the queue. Forms are possible download on the website of the Embassy.
You must have the following documents with you:
– Valid passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad (international passport) or passport of a citizen of Ukraine (domestic passport) of the applicant.
– A copy of the applicant's identification number (if this information is not indicated in the passport).
- Copies of other documents relating to the subject of the power of attorney (if available).
List of forms to be filled out is available on the website of the embassy.
For any power of attorney, you need to fill out 2 documents:
- Power of attorney form
- Signature certification form
Cost: In accordance with the approved consular fee tariffs, the consular fee for the property power of attorney certificate 55 euros + consular fee for certifying a signature on an application for registration of a power of attorney in the Unified Register of Powers of Attorney 18 euros.
You can pay at the embassy only with a Portuguese bank card.
If you do not have a card, you will have to go to the Santander bank.
After receiving the power of attorney, you need to bring it to a notary in Ukraine, who will register it.
